Natalie’s Focaccia Bread

 Focaccia bread is simple to make, and interesting!

Ingredients

– Flour – 3 cups

– Yeast – 2 teaspoons

– Water – 1 cup

– Sea Salt

– Olive Oil

– Olives

– Rosemary – little branch

– Garlic

Preheat oven to 220 degrees celsius.

In a bowl, put water and 1 tablespoon of oil. Then sprinkle yeast on top. Stir gently for a few seconds.

Leave for 10 minutes to let the yeast to do its thing…

Add 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir gently.

Add 2 cups of flour. Mix.

Slowly add the final cup of flour while kneading the dough.

Oil up a baking dish.

Put dough in the dish and punch it down so it is flat.

Sprinkle oil on top of dough. Chop rosemary up (thats not very nice for poor Rosemary! – Jordan) and sprinkle. Sprinkle sea salt. Push a few olives in. Chop garlic up and sprinkle.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until slightly golden brown. Use bottom of oven.

Don’t over cook or it will go dry.
