January 2014 INVSOC Potluck

We had a fantastic January 2014 Invercargill Vegan Society potluck!  Kofta, Lentil Loaf, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Cake Pops, Shortbread,  Macaroni Cheese, Chinese Shittake Mushroom Salads, Couscous…..

Jordan, Jenny, Erin, Martin, Katharine, Kerri, Steve and Jess were joined by new guests Acoya, Natalie, Amy, Erica and Lyann!

Acoya has just moved to New Zealand and is interested in being Vegan.  Natalie is a colour consultant for the INVSOC HQ refurbishment, and Amy is a Vegan GP doctor!  Erica and Lyann met members of the Invercargill Vegan Society at a welcoming event at the Invercargill Public Library.  We were invited to meet students from around the world, talk about our Vegan group and to encourage them to join local Invercargill communities that interested them.  Erica and Lyann were interested in Veganism, we were glad they could come along to our January 2014 potluck! :-)  During our potluck, we also received an email from a new Vegan who wants to join us in the Surf to City funrun next month.  Go INVSOC Team Vegan! :-)
